Jeff Sheaves and family were fantastic! Requested a quote for refinishing hardwood floors for several rooms on recent purchase of a multi level log home. Worked remotely from Florida with Jeff by phone, text and pictures. I can’t say enough about how much I appreciate the timely response, professionalism and quality of work. Jeff took his time to explain the different types of wood, make suggestions and went above and beyond. He and his team hand finished several rooms and dealt I with issues that were forced upon them by the appearance on property by the previous owner. The floors are beautiful and look better than new. I highly recommend Sheaves!

Jeff and his family are obsessed with doing a perfect job. From installing the material to cleaning up daily, they attend to the smallest detail. Son Aaron discarded product that had blemishes so small that I doubt I’d have seen it. But he refused to install imperfect boards. He paid particular attention to the finishing touches on the shoe mold and T-molding, cutting the pieces very tightly and precisely. Before the sale, Jeff is totally helpful, and does not up-sell or pressure. His suggestions are thoughtful and very apt. And we feel the quotes have been completely reasonable, under what we guessed. The Sheaves are very personable, very nice, and completely professional. You can do no better.

I bought a 32 year old townhome which had partial oak flooring on the main level, and wanted to continue onto the remainder. It was especially important to me to have the kitchen flow nicely with the living and dining rooms because they are open to each other. Sheaves did a fantastic job of installing new oak flooring and refinishing so it all matches. Aaron and Darlene are extremely professional and knowledgeable and I highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you for making my entire home gorgeous!!!

My husband and I moved to Waynesboro VA from Pennsylvania in June 2021. We purchased an older home to renovate. The home had oak floors in the bedrooms and hallway, which had the original finishes bright amber! We installed new white oak floors in the remainder of the home and were concerned about the old floors providing continuity with the new. We had Sheaves finish the floors with Bona intense and High Traffic HD extra matte. The floors are absolutely beautiful and the old floors match the new! Aaron arrived the day we scheduled and stayed on the job until finished. They worked extremely hard for 3 days. Also, when they ( Aaron and Darlene) finished everything is soooo clean, you will never know they sanded or finished your floors. The only thing left behind are beautiful floors for you to enjoy. I would highly recommend them for your flooring needs.

Aaron and Darlene did an excellent job with a difficult situation at our house. They always arrived on time on the date scheduled and worked incredibly hard - for 10 hours on a couple of the days. The finished floor was beautiful. Their price was competitive - lower than most of the quotes, and the work was absolutely top quality. When the work was over I was not only extremely pleased with the floor, I also felt good about the fact that I was supporting such an ethical and hard working family business.

Aaron is an exceptionally talented, professional, and efficient installer. He removed the original carpeting and installed hardwood flooring in our guest bedroom. He also performed a 'magical' repair job in our living room by removing a floor outlet. From first contact thru installation, including choosing the flooring, Aaron gave us excellent guidance. His work ethic and attention to detail are rare finds in a contractor today. Every scheduled appointment was kept on-time. The work space was tidy and cleaned up after the work was finished; definitely respectful of our home. We will not hesitate to recommend Aaron to our neighbors, friends and family. We are VERY happy with our new floor and ecstatic with our choice of Sheaves Flooring!

Aaron did an excellent job including a difficult job tearing up and replacing water-damaged section. The refinishing went very well and I appreciated daily updates during the.period that I had to vacate the house. I would likely recommend Sheaves for the highly professional work.

We are delighted with the work of Aaron and crew on our staircase, landing, and two rooms. They removed 40 year old particle board that had been under carpet, installed proper plywood as sub-flooring, and installed and finished hardwood floors and trim. Everything looks beautiful! They were incredibly tidy, even given particle board removal and floor sanding. They were also always on time and organized, and there were no surprises (a minor miracle with home renovations). Aaron is great -- he is professional, clear about what the work will entail and billing, and informative. Greatly enjoyed and appreciated working working with him, and we will definitely call Sheaves for any future flooring needs (like that kitchen floor refinish -- soon...). Thank you!!!
